RECORD AUTOFINDER FAQ

How does this program benefit the dealer?

Taps into the dominant regional exposure of the Times Herald-Record Online Network – more than 4 million visitor sessions in the last 12 months

Strong local and consistent promotion in the marketplace

Allows you to target the active local automotive shopper

Delivers more qualified prospects by providing information they seek 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Helps match potential buyers with the right vehicle, thus reducing sales time, allowing for increased sales productivity and additional traffic to the dealership Web site

By using emerging Internet technology, you enhance your image with prospective customers as a “cutting edge” company, building value with the prospect

Sends your inventory to Yahoo, one of the most-heavily trafficked Web sites, and other CarCast marketplaces around the area

How is the program promoted?

Massive, continuous print ad campaign in the Times Herald-Record

Participating dealers mentioned on in-paper promotions

Aggressive Web site advertising and dedicated placement on Record Online

Occasional e-mail marketing

Placement on all major search engines

How much time is required?

If the inventory is in the Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP system, or if your site is hosted with Cobalt, dealers' participation is hands-free. We are able to import directly from these systems

If necessary, a THR representative will visit your dealership once a week to take digital pictures of the used car inventory (up to 30 cars per week included in base price)

Any manual updates to system will be gathered and processed within 24 hours of the visit

The Times Herald-Record will provide full service if needed. This would include the database feed of all vehicles on your lot; updates to the back-end system once a week; and monthly reports of inquiries and traffic

You may also choose to update your back-end system yourself, as often as needed
